7- A link which is reciprocated (exchanged or swaped), high authority, and relevant to your niche.
5- A link which is reciprocated, high authority, but not relevant to your niche.
3- A link which is reciprocated, low authority, but very relevant to your niche.
1- The crappy backlinks are reciprocated, low authority, and not relevant to your niche.
Usually the best examples of 1 links are those from link farms and will usually do quite a bit more harm than good. Personally I find the best links are one way and relevant to my niche.
