It’s been a tumultuous time in the world of backlinks. Many are heralding the end of Angela and Paul’s backlink packets. (Don’t!) Similarly there are death knells being sounded for whole groups of communities as sources of backlinks across the web.

So what’s a site owner to do?!

More and more websites are being launched as blogs today, and more and more people are looking to backlinks to get their blogs noticed by the search engines and readers in general. Strangely, not many people are talking that much about one of the best sources of backlinks for blogs: Blog Carnivals.

Whatever area of internet marketing you look at today you find ways to automate tasks that rob you of precious time. Much of the time the cost is prohibitive, and we are forced to keep right on doing the task by hand. Not always though.

Lately I have been looking at several different ways to automate my backlink building as it can be the most time consuming thing on my schedule. There are more and more ways to approach this, and I am glad to say that not all of them are all that expensive.

The fact of the matter is that the secret to amazing SEO success is no big secret at all. High PR Backlinks work every time. It’s just a matter of finding enough of these and spending the time to post your links with your keywords or keyword phrases as anchor text.
